Promoting Industry–Education Integration
On March 3, Suzhou Institute of Technology and Xuchuan Chemical jointly held a signing and plaque-awarding ceremony for their employment internship base at Xuchuan Chemical’s Taicang headquarters.
The event was attended by university representatives, local government officials, and company executives, including Wang Ren, Yang Gang, Liu Xiangyu, as well as Sun Hongjun and Zhang Weidong.
Exploring Innovation and Talent Development
Before the ceremony, the delegation visited the Xuchuan Enterprise Exhibition Hall to learn more about the company’s development history, core technologies, and industrial布局. During the symposium, both sides discussed future cooperation in talent cultivation, technology innovation, and industry–university collaboration.
Sun Hongjun expressed hopes for deeper cooperation in joint talent training and key technology research, while Zhang Weidong introduced the company’s development strategy and talent needs. Representatives from Suzhou Institute of Technology also shared the university’s achievements in applied talent cultivation and practical experience in school-enterprise cooperation.
Official Signing of the Internship Base
In the presence of all attending guests, the university and enterprise officially signed the cooperation agreement and completed the plaque-awarding ceremony for the employment internship base.
This partnership marks a new stage of long-term and in-depth cooperation between both parties. Moving forward, the two sides will jointly develop talent cultivation programs, optimize curriculum systems, establish integrated internship and training platforms, and provide collaborative guidance for graduate projects.

The event concluded with a group photo session in the company hall, celebrating this important milestone in university-enterprise collaboration.
The establishment of the internship base will provide students from Suzhou Institute of Technology with valuable internship and career development opportunities, while also helping Xuchuan Chemical strengthen its talent pipeline and innovation capabilities, achieving mutual development and resource sharing between the university and enterprise.
